THE SCREENPLAY
"An uplifting story of faith, affirmation, and the discovery of sacrifice." - WeScreenplay
Written by award-winning filmmaker Chad Eric Smith, The Potluck Blueprint is a feature-length adaptation of the faith-based book by the same name. While the book is described as a "contemporary resource for Christian gatherings," the screenplay tells the life story of author Rhonda Pugh and follows her divinely inspired journey to write it. Using a nonlinear narrative structure, the story depicts Rhonda as a devout woman whose faith in God allows her to weather storm after storm with divine grace.
In 2021, the screenplay was accepted as an Official Selection of the
Seventh Annual Northern Virginia International Film & Music Festival and won the
"Best Family/Faith-Based Screenplay (Over 20 Pages)" award!
THE BOOK
A Call to Fellowship through Food and Scripture
The Potluck Blueprint, written by Lady Rhonda, is a contemporary resource for Christian gatherings that will elevate the conversation and support the bonding that naturally happens when folks break bread and share testimonies. The format of this divinely inspired book will encourage conversations about topics that range from career development, marriage, and childrearing, to domestic abuse, foster care, and learning disabilities. The Potluck Blueprint applies biblical teachings to real-life issues that your church family needs to discuss and heal.
